چکیده

Skin squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the second most common skin cancer and mainly caused by cumulative UV exposure. However, SCC also arises independently of exposure, on sites sustained damage like chronic ulcers, scars, inflammatory diseases Hidradenitis suppurativa. Here we aimed to decipher genomic abnormalities, non-UV cutaneous SCC. We collected FFPE samples from a cohort 31 SCCs patients, including five HS, four leg ulcers eight DREB. DNA was extracted sequenced using illumina TSO500 panel 525 genes. Tumor Mutational burden at least 6 times lower than induced The predominant mutational signature clock-wise signature. By comparing frequency driver mutations, found TP53, NOTCH1 were significantly less frequently mutated Interestingly, KMT2B (a histone methyl transferase) in 11/31 this proportion higher These mutations high impact loss-of-function suggesting potential Suppressor Gene function. then performed vitro MTT proliferation wound healing/migration assays SCC-13 A-431 lines after knock down siRNA. that knocking expression does not affect migration, however, it increases migration. Altogether, our results identify as TSG are currently performing vivo experiments further its role progression.

Comparative evaluation of the frequency of myofibroblasts between oral and cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas

Introduction: Differentiation of fibroblasts to myofibroblasts is an initial and very important event in tumor genesis. Myofibroblasts produce proteinases that stimulate invasion in cancers. Due to the more malignant potential of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) compared to cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) , the aim of the present study was to compare myofibroblasts between OSCC and ...

Immunohistochemical expression of CD10 in cutaneous basal and squamous cell carcinomas

Background: Non-melanoma skin cancer is the most common malignant tumor in humans. The role of ultraviolet radiation is well-known in the pathogenesis of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). CD10 is a zinc-dependent metallopeptidase known as common acute lymphoblastic leukemia antigen (CALLA). Although CD10 expression has been investigated in some cutaneous tu...

the analysis of the role of the speech acts theory in translating and dubbing hollywood films

Value of CD10 Expression in Differentiating Cutaneous Basal from Squamous Cell Carcinomas and Basal Cell Carcinoma from Trichoepithelioma

Background: In addition to the well-defined histological criteria for squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and basal cell carcinoma (BCC), immunohistochemical techniques can be used in difficult cases for their differentiation. As differential diagnosis between trichoepithelioma (TE) and BCC is sometimes difficult for the clinician and the pathologist, CD10 may be a useful marker for definite diagnosi...

Genomic analysis of metastatic cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma.

PURPOSE A rare 5% of cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas (cSCC) metastasize, lack FDA-approved therapies, and carry a poor prognosis. Our aim was to identify recurrent genomic alterations in this little-studied population of metastatic cSCCs. EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN We performed targeted sequencing of 504 cancer-associated genes on lymph node metastases in 29 patients with cSCC and identified muta...
